About personal data

Personal data that we process

We process your personal data because you use our services or products and/or because you provide it to us yourself. For example, via this website, this includes the following:

  • First and last name
  • Contact information such as phone number and email address
  • IP address
  • Information about your activities on our website
  • Internet browser and device type

Special and/or sensitive personal data

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is at or older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you believe we have collected personal data about a minor without this consent, please contact us at webmaster@intervisionwebdesign.com, and we will delete this information.

Data breach procedure

If a data breach has occurred in which your information has been compromised, we will notify you within 72 hours using the contact details we have.

Purpose and basis for processing data

Your related data is processed here for the following purposes:

  • When applicable, processing your payment
  • Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
  • To be able to call or email you if necessary to provide our services
  • To inform you about changes to our services and products
  • To offer you the opportunity to create an account
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • interVision it can analyze your behavior on the website to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences
  • interVision it also processes personal data if we are legally obligated to do so, such as data we need for our tax return

Sharing personal data with third parties

We do not sell your data to third parties, and will only provide it if necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. There are data processing agreements in place with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security, and confidentiality of your data. We remain responsible for this processing.

Cookies, or similar techniques

Functional, analytical, and tracking cookies are used here. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet, or smartphone when you first visit this website. These cookies have a technical function and ensure that the website works properly, and that, for example, your preferences are remembered. Besides ensuring the website functions properly, these cookies are also used to optimize it.

No automated decision-making

Retention policy

When you leave a comment, that comment and its metadata are retained. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Retention period

Any personal data stored will not be retained longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. For data required for tax accountability purposes, the statutory retention period applies. This is currently 7 years.

Request for data insight and/or deletion

You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to: webmaster@intervisionwebdesign.com

To verify that the request for access has been made by you, we ask that you include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please redact your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. Some data may not be deleted because we are required to retain it for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
